Terms

  • Instructor fee is $300 per day.

  • Specimens and materials are in addition to the instructor fee. If you cannot provide your own specimens we can help you locate suitable specimens. We do keep certain species in stock that are available for sale.

  • Materials are ordered from and shipped to our shop and will be ready for you when you arrive.

  • Payment plan is based on total fees (Instructor fee, Specimens, Materials, Lodging). It is broken down  into 3 payments …25%-50%-25%.

  • The first 25% is due at the time a course is booked. See below * for details.

  • Lodging is extra and you may book your own accomodations but we can handle it for you. We recommend Value Place Extended Stay on Scenic Highway in Pensacola. It is a budget hotel but extremely nice and recent construction with updated rooms. Rooms have a stove, microwave, refrigerator, television with cable, internet and full size bed.  Value Place is approximately 10 minutes from our shop and close to shopping and restaurants in Pensacola and Milton.

*A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total course fee is due upon registration for a class to schedule time on our calendar. Deposits are non-refundable and non-negotiable. This is to protect our interests in the event of cancellation. Scheduling a student for a course reserves a slot that we may not be able to fill in the event of a late cancellation which can be costly. We will work with you to reschedule as required but deposits are non-refundable.

The next payment of 50% the total tuition cost plus the cost of lodging, materials and specimens of the remaining balance is due not later than 14 days prior to the start of your resident training. At this time we will book your accommodations and order any required specimens and materials. The remaining 25% balance will be due on arrival for training.

Cancellations within 14 days from the start of the session will result in a refund less the enrollment fee, deposit and any costs incurred from cancellation of accommodations and the purchase of specimens and materials. All cancellations must be in writing before refund will be issued. Many acts of God, Nature (and employer) are out of your hands and ours. We will work with you to reschedule your training should the need arise.

We will not be held responsible for injury or illness during the conduct of the workshop on or off the premises where the training is conducted.

We accept most major credit cards, Paypal, Personal Checks and cash. There will be a $35 fee assessed on all returned checks.

Most bird, fish, small game and gamehead courses will mount 2 specimens over the course of 5 days. Minimum course length is 3 days which will typically mount 1 specimen. Course can be scheduled for 10 days or 2 weeks up to 8 weeks, however, 1 non-training day will be scheduled after each 7 day period.
