Pensacola, Florida
PNS Site
Pensacola is our home office and first training site. All student administration is done through this location. We have operated training and student administration out of this location since 2014. Our primary work space for commercial taxidermy services is a 3000 + SF warehouse located in a very busy commercial/industrial section of Northwest Pensacola. We have a 12 x 16 student cubicle in the west side of the warehouse. There is a handicap equipped bathroom in the office. We have a 60-inch flat screen television in the office, another in the cubicle for reference and a computer available for use. There is wireless internet throughout the building. There is a refrigerator, microwave, smoker, crockpot/pressure pot, a Keurig and a regular coffee pot on site. We keep the refrigerator well stocked with water, sodas, tea, sandwich food and snacks.
Lunch is provided at this location...sandwich lunches, hot lunch once a week and pizza once a week. You are welcome to go offsite for lunch if you prefer. There are numerous fast food restaurants only minutes away, some within walking distance. Lodging is available through multiple extended stay budget motels and all major hotel chains from as close as 6 minutes away with more premium lodging 20 minutes out. There are also several nice RV parks close by. AirBNB has been a popular option for students and their families. We are 20 minutes from Pensacola's beautiful sugar white beaches. There are many extra curricular activities in the area year round.
All courses are available in Pensacola.
Ash
Ashville, Alabama
Ashville is our newest training location as of October 2022. It is a very quiet rural area of Northeast Alabama located at the residence of Matt and Chrissy Harris. The training is split in to two areas on the premises...skin preparation/tanning area and general taxidermy work area. There is a flat screen and computer for reference study in the main training area.
Lunch is also provided but off site lunch is not recommended since there are no fast food options close by. You may also bring your lunch!
Lodging is available through multiple major hotel chains within 30 minutes. Yes, it is a little further out but the beautiful quiet country atmosphere and the the warm hospitality of Matt and Chrissy make for a wonderful experience. There are also several nice RV parks close by. AirBNB may also be an option in the area.
Courses available at this location include Gameheads and Small Predators/mammals.
